Okay, I'm not a sound engineer, but this should be simpler than I thought. I recorded my acoustic guitar and it sounds tinny. I tried to adjust the EQ to round it out, but when I do it clips like crazy. Can anyone share an EQ setting for acoustics? (edit -- link removed) Thanks. Oh, BTW...

I actually got the adaptor from a commercial music store. It's a Hosa YMP-233 but it says on the sticker "Y Cable Stereo 3.5mm (M) to Two Stereo 1/4" (F). Edit -- there are two black rings on it. Edit Edit -- Is this what I should be looking at? Mono to Stereo?
