thanks for the advise guys got a tuner also and i was doing the D string and the tuner told me to keep going and keep going, was nearly there and the string snapped! have a friend that is one of the best guitarists i've ever seen come over and help me with the new strings and tuning i am playing...

received all my gear last monday from musicstore.com in Germany this includes: epiphone les paul junior (white) behringer vt30fx amp with foot switch strap .60mm dunlop tortex plecs strap guitar and footswitch cables kam khp1000 head phones for amp and a set of ernie ball regular slinky...

i know what you mean alright the way i'm looking at it at the moment is if i dont get on well with the right handed i will sell it and go left handed...i have plenty time on my hands so i am willing to experiment with differant set ups etc i have been talking to a few friends of mine that are...

thanks for the advice guys have a few lads here that know their stuff about guitars that said they will tune the guitar and sort out all the small bits for me :D started working last week so will start being paid this week would be willing to spend about 300 euro on everything any body have any...
