I'm running cubase LE and it tells me this when I try to export into any format. This is the first time I've had the problem.

When I try to directly record an electric bass guitar with passive pick ups I get no signal. Do I need something to boost the signal to a detectable level, or am I doing something wrong?

I used a tiny amount on the saxophone. The other players seemed to feel that verb would muddle up the sound, but you're probably right. I'll try to throw some in.
