Thanks for the props. I used mostly the synths that cam with the AKAI Advance I got: Vacuum pro, Hybrid, Loom and xpandi. They are certainly aggressive and with the pro tools vsts that AKAI gave out free last year, they fit the bill for that album. Now if I could only sing. :)

I like the guitar sounds that you put together. Vox are enjoyable, lyrics are cool, as are the chorused vox. Bass is good, not over powering. To me the drums are too dry and fake sounding, it's hard to get past them. Timbo

If it's really playing over and over, it sounds like you're looping. Is there a yellow line at the top that demarks the start and end of a loop? Do they show up in the midi data of a brand new midi track? Before you've recorded anything? So many questions!

The hiss is in the mixdown, I've not isolated it but I think it happens when my mix is too quiet (peak at less than -20dB) and I have to add gain in the "mastering" stage.
