    Out of reach! Rocking!

Llarion, thanx for listening/commenting/bumpin, it's certainly got tech flaws, and performance flaws as well, but the more i listen to this, the more i like it. It's very spacious in the midst of it's loudness. The flaws tickles my ears :D -Mush

    Out of reach! Rocking!

dogman, supercreep, thanks guys :) Lots of 80's vibe on this one, huh, I thought people were gonna say U2. You're right of course.... I guess coming of age in the 80's did make it's mark, even though I didn't really consciously listen to contemporary music then. Must say thanks again for your...

    Out of reach! Rocking!

Sonic Youth does some stuff like that, sometimes they're a little too far out for me, but they've made some great music.

    Out of reach! Rocking!

glad you like it man!!!!! yeah somehow i feel the unbalance in the mix is kinda refreshing, just like the offtune vocals, know what i mean?, i never recorded a tune with the guitars out of tune, but i'm heading there....

What is/was your most AMBITIOUS recording?

My most ambitious recording was a song called "My country is different from yours", but the ambition wasn't about the sound (although i'm always ambitious about that). I wanted to make a protest type song in the shape of a national anthem. I wanted it to reflect the core of my political...

    Out of reach! Rocking!

Here's the latest recording from moi, in the everongoing quest to hurt the establishment. It's kewl and dirty. The great thing about it is that I sing really false and with a scandy accent, and i'm KEEPING IT! HAH! Mad Mush: Out of reach.mp3 As always, I love to hear it when people like my...

    A Silly Little Thing....

best tune of yours i've heard so far, dog :) i LIKE the guitars, they sound great! What do you use for listening back? Maybe you ARE getting the sound you want, you just don't know it because your playback monitors aren't up for it? Just a desperate idea :D

Punk Rock Song: Angels Last Alright

I don't know what trey is talking about :D The guitar sound is very fine. The problem with the vocals is merely volume, not reverb. (I recommend Waves Trueverb, btw.) Keep in mind things will happen when mastering as well... ...

Did things a little differently on this one...

He he, just said stones are pop to wind you up :D You know, i didn't mean sid vicious' version of my way is great because it's punk, but because it's an interpretation. Another great great cover: Neil Young's take on Blowin in the wind. Heartbreaking stuff.... Why on earth have you decided...

Punk Rock Song: Angels Last Alright

i agree with steveletwin about the vocals being maybe a little too prominent, you sing really well so that's not the problem. There is a lot of singing on this track, is all :) maybe if you could tweak the bass tone to make it stick out... nice track, very ambitious! ...

Did things a little differently on this one...

you're such an airwave hogger, rami. good to hear a rockier tune from ya, after all that weasly rolling stones pop! i'd put a background arrangement on this one as well, strings maybe? i like the spaghettiwestern tone of the intro! Remembering your recent girl problems -> i hear a lot of...

Punk rock fans comme in number

it would be really interesting to see where this goes with a live drummer (or even just some work on the arrangement/drum sounds), i think this is promising.... nice fuzzy guitars, kewl riff, good rough vocals.... i'll second dogman, you're 16?, you can be confident, kiddo :D but i appreciate...

    Warts and all: next instalment

Dogman// i'm happy you liked it, thanks for telling me! Lawler// That's some compliment coming from a virtuoso like yourself - thank you!, I'm very happy with the solo myself, i think it's provocative somehow... in all simplicity, just reeks of the joy to play. Even if I do say so myself...

    Warts and all: next instalment

Well friends, time for another track from the forthcoming album (which i'm thinking of calling "Greatest Hits 2005" since it'll be a collection of 10-12 songs that i "release" one at the time). This is a loud fast cocky funny dirty tounge-in-cheek tune fulll of faith, belief and conviction ;)...
