"Menphis Vintage M1J" (sic) Does anybody know anything about this bass?

Google is not my friend on this one, obviously an attempt at a copy of a Memphis bass of some sort. A real oddity. The pickguard has been cut awkwardly, possibly to fit a pickup upgrade. Am curious, any info much appreciated!.... "Menphis". Seriously? :D

Nevermind your accent, even the Japanese can make clash covers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odjVYvB7Vyc

And to think The Clash spent three months in Baker Street Studios, spending a fortune with Sandy Pearlman :D Their road manager John Broad remarked that they spent a LOT of time on the drum sound. Including attaching a matchbox to the snare skin, moving it around. I suppose there was an ever so...

Well as you've heard, I can do decent Mick Jones style vocals... Last Gang and Complete Control, two good choices me thinks!

Slightly off topic, but since we have three major Clash fans here (of whom I am the biggest), how about a collab on a Clash cover or two? Greg, Bubba?

Oi Greg, I think "Ace of Spades" is a perfect song that shouldn't be fucked around wif ;) how dared you.... I really enjoyed listening to your version and may have to attempt it myself now. Did I hear somebody say you play drums on that? But I'm with BrokenH: So here's challenging Greg_L to do...

Here's my (White Man) In Hammersmith Palais cover, I call it "Four Tops All Night" :) It's not snot tight, but was great fun to make! Coming back from the pub, I realize this sounds better when you've had a few drinks!

    Bubba, that..... is A C E :D :D :D I KNEW I should've made a polka metal version of White Man. A proper cover you've made there.

DK time wise, OK, second wave. But sound and attitude wise, first wave! "John Dillinger" could've been snatched right from the old DK days: made in 2013. Not that I mind second wave punkrock. Or even some third wave. But it's about time there was another wave. Bubba, thanks for the rescue...

My all time favourite band is The Clash :D I made a cover of London Calling a few years ago. Maybe ten... I'd do it but it wouldn't be much of a stretch ;) except for the wilderbeast howling before the solo (or was it supposed to be seagulls?). OK, I'll do it. I'm steeped in first wave...

I'm into rock music, and I play everything. If it isn't rock, i'm likely to make it rock anyway.... is that cheating?

    Limb From Limb

Good choice of cover! How about simply overdubbing the bass? Play a one note bass track and sneak that in?

Great idea this! I volunteer to be challenged. I'll give myself 24 hours on it. :D

    Think The World

Sounds like the Vandals :) I've never heard this band ALL before. Good performance, the only thing I really notice different is the guitars slide a bit on the chord changes, yours are more on the beat, I'd have the drums slightly more prominent. I'd like more kick drum, but it does cut through...

    Zero budget video on VEVO

Best video I've produced. This was shot with a cheap point and shoot camera that features HD1080p video and two DV tape camcorders, on four occasions. One scene at a cafe, one at a local high street, one at Trafalgar Square after the death of Margareth Thatcher and then at her funeral. It was...
