Sound on Sound and rarely EQ....

Ok no replies, but i didnßt worry too much... After being in doubt for a Topaz a Gs3 (Allen & Heath) or this... Well... after hearing it i had NO doubt at all !!! Great sounding EQ (VERY british), and even at flat EQ everything sounded with a bit more "body"... A great buy... so if anyone...

PLEASE please... tell me everything i need to know about a Soundtracs MRX 24 console... Anyone had one ? It seems great sounding to me (compared to my Mackie 24/8)... Any suggestion ? Hope i will get some replies soon :D (and sorry for the hurry)...

Yeah, ok... but i am in Europe and the prices are a bit different... But impressions on the board ?

.. or a Soundtracs Topaz 24-8, that's what i am gonna buy in these days and i would recommend it... U can find it for around 1000/1300 $ with meterbridge and it is a very fine board...

I found one with meterbridge for 1200... So that should be it's price... Thanx a lot, and if anyone owns a Topaz please leave your impressions.

Why not considering a NordLead3 ? For the type of sounds you need this is a sonic beast...

SO how do you edit your mixes ? I am not quite sure i could do without editing my tracks on the screen, and manipulating samples... So the best way would be to buy some more I/O for the PC....

Exactly... But what would you recommend as I am actually making heavy use of HD recording and I have just 8 outs from the audio card, so what i use the mixer for is normally to get my various inputs into the 8 inputs of the PC, but i do the real mixing on the pc... I would love to pass it...

I would like to switch from my analog Makie 24-8 to a digital console but i am not sure as if i will be able to work like i am used to, and i guess i won't... I am used to using inserts a lot, direct outs for phone feeds and for tracking, and the 8 bus makes you work in a certain way... I was...
