I used regular drawer sliders, big enough to hold the keyboard + the player's (me!) enthusiasm while playing :D It works fine but i think i will do some refinements as it is quite heavy to pull out ! Anyway... the real nightmare is NOT building the thing... is taking measurements to make...

Here is a song a friend of mine wrote the lyrics for ( and sung it) and i wrote and arranged everything else. The mix is not really final, as the voice needs to be a bit more UP FRONT and some little tweaking here and there, but i wanted to hear your comments... The song is HERE ( in ZIP...

Another update with the mixer and the shelf (that will be painted) that will host the 2 TFT and the DAT... MOre to come with the speakers stand and two racks....

What do you mean closing air gaps ? Sorry i am really new to sound proofing... SO there's nothing i can do in my situation to dampen the sound that leaks up ?

Oh.. the ceiling is 2.70 meters....

OK i own the place but i just did the walls with plasterboard and i am not really willing to tear everything apart :D So... Can i build a lower ceiling ( sorry i am italian and don't know the exact word for it) and at least avoid the sound hitting the ceiling directly ? Again i will NOT play...

Hi ! I am building my own "studio" (that is more like my play-room :D) and i don't really mind of sound spilling trhu the perimeter walls as they all (but one) are internal walls just build with plasterboard, and one faces a garden ( so no neighbours around), but over me there's a living room...

After cutting the MDF and getting all the screws and stuff i am starting to build my desk... It will look ( hopefully :D) like the 3D i did to design it... :D So here's the 3D... The green things is the rackmount equipment ... (just for measurement purposes :D)
