Hello everyone! This is my first track I made on FL Studio, so I'm looking for some tips for improvement or things I did right. I've made other songs via Garageband, but I'm starting to delve deep into constructing and producing my own songs. Thank you for any comments. YouTube

I also like the recording audio as well. It gives a nice homely feel to it. Nice job on doing the individual parts in a single take. I always must congratulate someone who makes the effort to play the entire song.

Great work. You make it seem easier than it really is. I must give you props for doing each of the two tracks in a single take. Keep up the solid performances.

One of the tips I would like to give is to adjust the velocity of your notes. Knowing which notes to change might take some practice, but an adjustment at all will do wonders to make your piano sound more organic. Of course, the better the piano software, the more realistic it will sound.

Bass is the highlight for sure; the tone perfectly fits with the song. The drums, however, need to be a bit more aggressive. Try adding more velocity to the kick to get that punchy combination with the bass. Besides that, I really loved the overall mixing of the piece and I look forward to more...
