Good job overall. My main issue is with the lead guitar. It just seems a little out of place and too up front. Especially in the intro it seems kind of forced.

Welcome. In it's simplest form....mixing is taking individual elements and blending them to together to form one cohesive piece.

Not that it's really relevant, but automation is my least favorite thing about mixing.

I found this to be very true when I downloaded a few of the tracks from the Telefunken site and I was amazed. It sounded great with the faders up and no effects. I guess I was used to mixing my poorly recorded attempts at making music.

So is there steel guitar or not? I'm confused. And you probably wouldn't want me to play steel guitar unless you want to add some suckiness to the song. :D

Welcome. The singer has great voice. Nice arrangement. The intro sounds great, but when the full band comes in it sounds very empty. Like PDP said, the bass is almost non-existent. It sounds like there's a high shelf boost on the stereo buss or something. Maybe get those drums pumping...

That's a catchy tune, dude. :D The acoustic guitar that is panned to the left is really throwing me off when it's by itself like at the beginning and towards the end. Maybe during those parts pan it just a little more towards center. A couple of spots where the vocals are slightly out of...

FYI...I took Mix 4 no/no to the radio station, but I haven't heard back from him yet. I'll keep you updated.
