It's got 8 on the back and 1 on the front. Three of them on the back are spaced far enough apart and of course the one on the front you wouldn't have any trouble with. Here's a pic and a link. Buy Furman Merit M-8LX Power Conditioner with Lights | Power Conditioners | Musician's Friend

FS: Complete recording rig...Presonus Firestudio, Digimax FS, headphone amp +

Ok. Thanks for the responses. It looks like if I split it up I've got the Digimax, Furman, & Behringer spoken for. Did any of you want the rack case? It is an SKB. I couldn't find a model #. Before I split it up to sell I'm going to give it just a couple of more days. But I'll definitely...

FS: Complete recording rig...Presonus Firestudio, Digimax FS, headphone amp +

I know. I really hate to get rid of it, but it's just overkill for what I need. I'm going to spend the money on a Firestudio Mobile (because I'm a Presonus fan) and a laptop. That way I won't have to lug around my desktop when I go to record. Life will be just a little bit simpler. :D If...

FS: Complete recording rig...Presonus Firestudio, Digimax FS, headphone amp +

I'm selling off my live rig and downsizing to something smaller. I really hate to part with it, but it's just a lot more than I need and more than I use. I'm giving my HR peeps first dibs then it's going up for auction. Presonus Firestudio 26x26 firewire interface Presonus Digimax FS 8...

Building a computer...for the first time.

I researched a lot of mobo's and it seemed that Gigabyte uses TI chipsets in all of their mobo's. At least that was the case 3 years ago when I built mine. I will say this, I built a microATX and man things get cramped in there. It's really a pain when I want to add a component. I built a...

    PC upgrade w/$500 budget

I agree. I think the money could be more usefully spent on other components. A good 7200 rpm hdd will suit probably 95% of home recorders out there.

Building a computer...for the first time.

What??!!!??? There's directions????? :laughings: Seriously man, it's not hard at all. Just make sure you get quality components. And like already been said, you can really only put things together one way. I mean if I can do it, how hard can it be?? :D Check in the Studio-Central...

Order Of Recording Instrument/Vocal Tracks: My Theories And Your Suggested Insights

OP, I think you are just a bit confused. No big deal. I would say that VERY rarely would a drummer record his part without any other instruments being played (either live or pre-recorded) for him to listen to while playing. The last song that I recorded went like this: 1. recorded scratch...

If what you're using is working for you, the I don't see where you NEED an interface. You obiously make good recordings with what you have.

Newbie Questions (Cubase user answers appreciated :D)

If you're going to be using a midi keyboard and virtual instruments, then you won't *need* an interface. But, you will need a way to get the midi data into the computer which would be some sort of MIDI to USB device. There are plenty of options out there for that. Although now that I think...

    Guitar tuning software?

If your DAW doesn't have a VST tuner, just download a free one. I'm sure that there are plenty. I use Cubase and it has a tuner.

    Mixing is HARD!

I don't like mixing with one fader at a time with the mouse. So for now, I draw the automation by pulling and pushing the "rubber bands". I tried the Korg NanoKontrol, but I didn't like it. It's cheap and just doesn't feel right. My next one will be a nice one with flying faders. :D
