    Summer Song Again

Emeric, Damn son, listened to two, though my favorite Koss phones. WOW, nice!! Did you do all the instruments? Only nit, the bass sounds like it's coming from a different space than the rest of the mix, I hope you know what I mean, maybe too direct sounding, to forward, compared to the rest...

Sorry about that rats.............. I didn't know you put that much work into it. I meant lazy, and inane as a compliment. Music can convey all feelings and still be good. We all interpret music differently, and that's good, you wouldn't want me to interpret your music the same way you do...

They Let Me Out Of My Cage Early Today

Too short, This tune reminds me of a busy highway, with cars stopping and going, very quickly, and in perfect time. This one sounds very happy to me. Great work, great recording!! GT

    Hi!

Hi Q, I haven't had the pleasure of being in one of your threads in a long time. How the hell are you? Still using those clanky old adats? Don't worry about what everyone else is doing, just do your own thing. The food chain will live on!! GT

    Coca and Howe

Hey rats, Sounded nice and clear, I don't know why I like this random inane music, but I do. I suppose I like the total freedom of music, with absolutely no boundries, and no structure. It's also a very lazy way to make music, my last one went this way, and got fairly mixed, to bad reviews...

    this song is Free!!

macle, Sounded really good, but then my turntable broke at the end, and the song slowed to a stop. Must be the belt. Even my Shure V-15 type 35 didn't help. Other than that, man what a great song, recording, and performance!!! You owe me one turntable belt. Great work!!! GT

    HRC: flat-9 stark raving naked

flat-9's mother, "9, you stop playing with your organ." 9, all out of breath, "I'm allmost done, ooh aaah, there we go." Another perfect recording. That was awesome!! GT

Is this even close..to being, original?

Bass sounds just a little hot, but damn that's some nice bass, fancy, and fits all at the same time!! The lead to me sounds a little burried. What great playing, singing, and song. Great work!!! GT

    Methods- Marginally Off Topic

...........Also............. For eq, I actually ended up using an eq, that works best in my truck, and that seems to translate around nicely, weird!! When it comes to gear, I really think, less is more. Less eq, and try to stick with subtractive. I personally like more headroom, as opposed...

    Methods- Marginally Off Topic

Without thinking about it, and since my readout is so small. I had to go check, seems I've been using 8db headroom without even knowing it. Anything less, for me leads to overs. Thanks to this thread, I got up, put on my reading glasses and looked. Yup, 8db. Unless you like compression...

The best song I have, or will ever write

So, does this mean you're not a virgin? Beautifull baby, and the baby too!! New strings will now be replaced with new jars of baby food, and diapers. Now start practicing lulabys!! TOO COOL!!!! GT

He made me a really sweet deal...

Nice, The Birdman scores big!! Can't afford one, so I'll just have to go with the Danelectro Resonator pedal hehe! This is why I never buy new strings, temptation. Put it in the clinic soon!! GT

    Sleepy

What's to like, one chord all the way through. Unamaginative, simplistic lead, and really no structure. I do think the recording is decent though, and that's enough, sometimes. Sound checks, are important. Even with a lame song, you can get some idea of the tone of what you playback. GT

    Me, Myself and Irene

Man, That's really sweet!! Just lose the snare sound, and this thing is near perfect!! Man the singing on this is stellar!! Lt. Bob, how many times I gotta tell ya, NO SAX, BEFORE A FIGHT!! That sax is better than sex. Great work!! GT

Emeric, Thanks for bumping this back up, I thought it was doomed for sure. Yeah, I have to kind of blame the drum solo partly on your last tune, hey we all inspire each other, if your too tired to chew, pass it on hehehe. I actually tried to make this as inane as possible, kind of just...
