Guitar synth... what took me so long

I'll send him the link, thanks. The fact that JM uses it will go a long way toward selling him on it. Thanks again. Carl

wow, thats all i have to say

I think that what he is doing is quite interesting. I noticed some of that lack of dynamic control too, but it didn't detract from what obviously takes tremendous effort on this Jean Baudin's part. The stuff he uploaded to myspace.com is much cleaner (perhaps because he employed compression)...

Gtr Player Mag's Gtr Hero thingy-I made the final 10!

I hear a John Scofield, Al DiMiola thing happening. Not enough to be called a clone, copy or rip off by any stretch. Patch change setups for live?

Does the Korg have splittable zones? Is it even splittable? If your controller keyboard is splittable AND the module is capable of producting multible timbers on different MIDI channels, you should be able to do this. Can you gear comply? Carl

    zoom rfx-1000

For what I paid for it, I quite like mine. However, I use it for live performance. It's hardly studio gear. Carl

    homerecording bbs radio

Try posting this in feedback, but I doubt this will happen. It took years just to get a server upgrade that didn't lock you out if you were the third person to login at the same time. Carl

    Suggestions for keyboard midi controller?

Depending on your weight requirements, price, pitch/mod requirements and a few other details, you might be better off with a digital piano instead of a dedicated controller. Carl

Is it possible to conennct a sound module to a keyboard ?

Some MIDI keyboard controllers have start/stop buttons on them. The Roland A-30 for example. When you hit it it sends a MIDI message to your sequecer to play and to stop. There's also a Record button. Carl

Is it possible to conennct a sound module to a keyboard ?

It depends on the keyboard. Some sequencers are internal only. Some are "all or nothing" where you have to pick either internal or external. Some do both at the same time. Carl

How do I use my sound module racks with my keyboard?

You can use your keyboard to control sound modules. To do this you need to connect your keyboard to the modules. The output from your keyboard comes from the MIDI "out" port. The input to your modules goes into the MIDI "in" port. Your keyboard needs to connect from the out to the...
