Unfortunately Tubedude, the 12.99 price tag means that if you order 12 you can get them for 12.99 a piece. Otherwise they are a little more expensive....I was dissapointed.
I just bought a soundtracs topaz 32x8 and I love it!!! UPS and Fed-Ex cannot ship packages that big, so it'll have to come by freight. It cost close to $400 for packing, insurance, and shipping for mine. Not cheap, but it got to me safely!
I'm curious exactly how the Aux sends/returns are laid out on this board? I've read a lot about it, and it seems that there are only 2 available at mixdown. Could someone explain this to me a little more. Also, are there any workarounds that you guys have found to get past this problem? Thanks!
There is really no definitive answer to "how do I make my drums sound like they were recorded in a professional studio." There are a few things to consider though such as a good drummer, a well tuned kit and a decent room. Beyond that it really depends on the ears behind the console...
I found a site on the web called www.foambymail.com that has great prices on foam. It looks just like Auralex foam ( and has a close NRC) but I'm curious if it's the same stuff? If you have bought from this company, how was your experience?

I've ordered from markertek before when I made my mic cables. I just thought that it would be crazy to actually solder that many cables! I'll call them and see what they can do.
I need some good patch cables. I would make my own...BUT, it would be more expensive and a whole lot more time consuming (imagine soldering 50 to 100 cables...no thanks) than just buying them. So what should I get? Are Rean or AP audio patch cables any good? Don't tell me Hosa!!! :) Thanks.
