Right now I am recording my drum demos with a single Audix f15. It does okay for what we need, but I am looking to experiment with a little bit better mics. I don't wanna go over $400, preferably less than that. I'd also like to continue using just 1 mic. Can anyone suggest something better...

I have been using the Line 6 Gearbox software with my UX2 for the last few years and it has been giving me okay results. I have been wondering about taking different approaches though. How much better (or worse) would using a POD XT be for guitar parts? Thanks in advance!

Okay I did a little EQing and adjusting, and played with some background stuff. It sounds good in my headphones, but varies on other speakers. How does this sound. Is there anything I should do to the vocals? Is the guitar too loud, or maybe need some mids EQed out? Thanks for all the help!

I posted an update :) What can I do to work on now??

Do you have a suggestion for a good reverb and delay to use on the vocals? I might also try it with Addictive Drums, it seems to mix a lil better for me sometimes.
