What I want to do is to use 2 different computers on the same .RRP file (record it on window computer, and mix on mac one) - are .RPP files compatible with mac and window computers?
Thank you so very much Rob! You must be one heck of an engineer...
Looking forward to learning more from you in the future, if you have the time (please post on my threads when ever you can).
Thank you Rob so much for that! It's actually me playing both instruments - dubbing the guitar afterwards, and you are right - I am an amateur on guitar...
I will be careful about the chord change noise as you said.
Also, I will experiment around with the mic placement to get the sound to...
Here is a recording I just finished and would like some feedback on how to improve it. I only used reverb but are there other plugins I should use, like compressor for instance? How about exciter or is there a plugin that makes it tube like warm?
Thanks in advance everyone...Stay safe now...
I have Fabfilters, and was wondering for example, do different eq plugins sound different - some better than others?
If so, do I have pretty good one, or should I upgrade to something else?
How are Wave plugins compared to Fabfilters?
Thanks in advance...
I use Reaper but was wondering are there better sounding ones out there, or do they all sound the same?

Thank you so much for your expertise -...

When I compare my recordings to an award winning engineer's work, mine is thine and small sounding.
Are the gears giving me this, or perhaps mixing technique?
I am using US-1800 Tascam interface, Studio Projects microphones C1 and C4, with Epic reverb.
His is apple computer based system with...

I like the sound of the Mogami cables, but they have a few models - just wondering which one I should get.
Is the top of the line worth the extra price? etc...
