This isn't mine, but it's a hell of a lot cooler.... I'm super biased but along with a harmonica the uke is probably one of the best bang for the buck instruments you can lay your hands on. A high quality uke is well within the financial reach of most players. :guitar:

I have two, a Pono and an Ibanez concert style. Ukes are cheap and fun, there's no reason not to own one.

My latest gear acquisition I need another stompbox like I need another hole in my head, regardless.... I had to pick up my daughter's violin from the music store because they repaired the bridge. I of course checked out their used stomp boxes and there I saw a very new looking Boss AC3 for $20...

I've noticed the same thing. It's nice to have someone as talented as her posting, but it defeats the purpose when there's no interaction. Forums are a two way street.

This should be the case with any software or driver, the whole idea of boxed software seems kind of outdated in today's world.

Sansamp Classic, I don't think they make it anymore. I got mine used over ten years ago. I've had my eye on the Paradriver for some time, I have no idea why.

I have the original Sansamp and the Behringer bass and guitar pedals. I consider all better than digital modelers because they don't have that high end buzz. I would give the Sansamp the edge soundwise, but for the price the Behringer is a extremely good value.

Not sure about X3, but I've been with Cakewalk since PA9 and you've always had to install the plugs or synths you wished to roll over into the newer version separately from the old discs.

I had to dump my UAD-1s just because I wanted to upgrade to a newer version.

I just switched to X2PE after buying a new computer and won't be upgrading because the price is too high and there are no features that I need or want. For $149 I could buy a lot of things I would use more.

I'm a UAD-1 and UAD-2 owner and I'm shocked they won't let you run the plugs on both cards. My guess is if the second card was PCI instead of PCIe they would've let you run the plugs. It's definitely not $600, because that's the price of the updated plug ins which won't run on UAD-1, only the...

Another reason to hate UA, those bastards not only had a prompt screen offering any three plugs for $399 on registration, they now left the offer open till 9/6. I think I may be going from sleeping on the couch to sleeping in the garage. Blasted Demonware!
