I agree with that,I must have at least a half dozen OD/distortion pedals,but damned if I don't want a few more.:D I've built my collection buying used or discounted pedals, and I've only run into a few pedals over the years that I considered "unusable".

BTW,I have a 59 installed on the neck of an Ibanez JK1 and it has a very familiar sound,IMHO it screams classic rock.

I looked at that,but I've got enough cheap pedals as it is.I've seen Rogue stuff used at the music store and it's always been bottom of the barrel.Between Berhinger and Danelectro you can get usable pedals for even cheaper than that.

An upright piano fits in most peoples houses,it's not necessarily for starters.

Just to screw things up a little bit I'm going to suggest maybe starting out by learning ukulele.They only have four strings,that are nylon and easy on uncalloused fingers and they're much cheaper than a guitar.Plus anything you play on a uke can be transfered directly to guitar.Very small,easy...

Usually if I can tell a person the name of a chord and not show them by playing it,that person knows enough theory for me.:D

I've owned a few Ibanez guitars and liked them all.I've never had any their "metal" guitars.I had a SG copy and a hollow body in the 80's I wished I never got rid of.I presently own a Jet King I and a Ukulele by them,totally satisfied.
