I don't know about their link, but I have first-hand knowledge that the semi-hollowbodies are hand made in Memphis. The solid bodies are made in Nashville. Did I mention I just toured the Memphis plant three days ago? ;)

Uhh. You may be right that it doesn't necessarily mean he knows the best techniques. However, it definitely seems relevant in defending the fact that he's not a "beginner."
