Care to elaborate on why (In your opinion) it's better? If I go to my friend and say 'the P120 is better' he'll just basically say 'f*** you' in nicer words, but if I go to him and say 'the P120 is better BECAUSE ________' he'll consider that. Not that I'm going to go by what only one person...

The 'highest version' of the P series, the P250 isn't better than the 120? Sometimes the 'remake + upgrade' keyboards are in fact worse than the original but is this the case here? :confused:

Well, price doesn't really matter, like I said he told me that he'd much rather save up twice as long and spend twice as much to have a really nice piano, than to spend half as much and need to upgrade later. BUT, that being said, if he changes his mind, it'd be nice to get an answer for a lower...

Well I decided today to swing down to the local music shop and see what they sell, try out a few keyboards, see if anything catches my eye. I'm not so much a digital piano man myself but my friend (who plays piano, and is looking on expanding that interest to digital piano) was really impressed...

The thing is, THESE are the types of keyboard sounds I plan on trying my best to recreate (not perfectly of course), and I'm no expert (literally...I know next to nothing) but judge for yourself...I think it's alot more of a synthesizer sound than a digital piano sound.

Would it not be more difficult to play a fast-paced keyboard solo with weighted keys? Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm actually hoping I am.

I'm not quite sure, but my best guess would be they are related to the distortion pedals guitar players use...but that is just like switching to another sound...I guess maybe if you need to switch and don't have time to lift your fingers from the board for even one second a pedal might be...

In that case, would it be possible to hook two keyboards up via MIDI and share sounds with each other? For example, if I were to buy a rather cheap keyboard could I use one sound from my good-quality keyboard on the cheap keyboard and another sound from my good-quality keyboard on the...

Just seems really money-inefficient to buy a whole other keyboard just for the sounds to me... :rolleyes:

I'm considering buying one of these but I'm hoping maybe somebody here has used one and will tell me if it's a piece of shit or an excellent keytar. Anybody?
