Okay, I'm not sure... but I have the feeling I could enhance samples i have, they don't have the vinyl crackles etc or any real noticable noise that's harsh sounding. But I try using the smoothing option in sounforge and it sorta makes a drum hit sound better, but takes form the dynamics...

help needed... How can I chop up songs off cd, to make samples... I have wav files that are longer than 5 mins and recycle wont except them, is there any programs directed towards this stuff.

okay... apparently wav is IBM and MAC is AIF....
