At the risk of repeating what has been already said... I LOVE the bass & drums on this - character by the bucketload - I would like to hear the acoustic guitars higher in the mix & more "in your face", but its not a deal-breaker.... Great stuff!

Thanks for listening guys... Some previous replies suggested some structural changes to make it more commercial/radio-friendly, but I had some who liked it like it is, so I'm considering doing a heavily edited version also, cut down to about 3min without all the self-indulgent wailing on it...

Nice tone & playing! I only just discoverd ribbon mics myself. I found an inexpensive "Royer 121" lookalike called a Carrilion Axis 70... Sounds great on guitar amps, drum overheads & as drum room mics.

...um...no better, no worse, indifferent... go away & stop boring us? :confused:

1st song: Nice acoustic guitar tone, although it does become a little to "plectrumy" (if that's a word!) in the middle 8 when you strum really hard. Sometimes this can be tamed using the attack control on the compression. I won't re-iterate the same stuff as has already been mentioned about...

Definitely very funky! Love the bass & drums. Guitar is full of adrenaline... could be a little more refined. The overall sound is a little "mushy" - I'd like to hear more transient action in something like this... Cool jam though!
