Hi, I really want to write my own songs, but I've only written one complete song now... I find it very easy to come up with an interesting chords progression, but then the hard thing steps in: lyrics and melody. I know this must have been said before, but I can't really write any melodies...

I want to upgrade from my MXL 990 on vocals. As I wrote in the Other Eqpt forum, I'm willing to wait to buy something more expensive, if it's a great improvement. I'm looking to spend my money once on a good vocal mic, not three times on something cheap. Now I can get a new MXL V69M for 195...

Yep, that's what I was thinking now... Anyway, I don't think I made a bad decision with the DMP-3, I think I won't need a better pre for the next few years or so... I guess I'm going to save up, practice some more on my guitar, enjoy making music, record with what I have for the sake of it...

No, it means that behringer copies products from other manufacturers, so it could well be an 'original'-non behringer thing ;)

FWIW, on my LP copy the upper surface of the knobs is just under an inch, about 0.98". at the bottom they're a bit wider it seems. here's a pic. Don't know if it helps. Stan.
