How's the project coming along? I thought about it the other day and I figured you could also make something like a patchbay: just run cables from the 1010LT's ins and outs to a (DIY-)patchbay and use that as a break-out box. Would save you a lot of solering work I'd think. Anyway let me know...

If they are actives, you can connect them to your soundcard or (monitor-) mixer, depending on the connections. If they are passive monitors, you'll need some sort of amplifier which you connect to your soundarc or mixer's output, and to the monitors.

I think the drums are indeed cheapo and too crowded...but so is the whole mix really...why all the lo-fi effects, pops, hisses and hums? Were they intentional? I think that it's already too busy at 1:47, but at around 2:00 it gets really bad... I think you should ease on the 'special...

And back the original Q of this thread, I saw germal dealers already listing it for just 199 euro!! I think I'm going to sell my Behringer UB1204PRO and get the Multimix 8, so I'll have the same ins/outs but also an Audio interface. Or would something like an M-Audio 1010LT be a better choice...

I don't think I understand the Q, earthboundrec... I now use the SBLive Platinum and I only use one stereo output to my HiFi receiver into either the JBL TLX 121 or the JBL Control 1 monitors, or into my headphones during tracking. I can select which channels should be heard on the...

Hi, Does anybody know the usual input impedance on a guitar amp / combo? I'm not talking about an extension cabinet, but just the thing you plug your guitar into... I use a valvetronix ad30vt amp by the way, but I guess the impedance should be quite standard? Thanks, Stan.
