I'm the guitarist in my band and I sometimes sing background vocals whilst playing guitar. Now, if I practice at home, or sing without a mike, everything sounds fine and I'm perfectly in tune. Now as soon as I sing in the mike (and hear myself louder through my monitor than I'm hearing myself...

Well, but look at it this way: how long have you spent installing the thing, a week? okay, that's bad, but if it serves you and your recordings for five years, it's been worth it I think :) Good luck:) Stan.

FWIW: I had a serious stability problem when I installed the USB drivers for my keyboard (Yamaha PSR-2100) on my PIV computer. Everything was just fine on my PIII pc, running the same OS (WinXP), although the PIII was running XP Pro and the PIV ran XP Home Edition... I never got it to work right...

What snow lizard said actually summed up pretty much what I was thinking...but just one question: I have changed strings to a heavier gauge, and after a week I changed back to the gauge I was using before... could it be I just have to wait for the neck to 'set back'? Do I require a setup after...
