Everytime I open or close a session, I'm asked if I want to save my default session. How can I get rid of that message?

I was hoping there was a better way to do it, like using snapping or something.

Ah, both good ideas. That brings up another question. How does the file-naming convention work? As in, what would track2(1) mean?

Every time I open a session I end up with many takes and tracks, sometimes ending up with only one wav file that I want to save. But, when I go to Save it, it asks me to save tons of files. Is it saving the files I deleted? And, how can I make it just save the whole session w/o asking me to...

I don't know about the rest of you but, minutes turn into hours quickly when experimenting with recording. Room preparation, mic placement, getting the right sounds from your instrument, getting good takes, editing, blah, blah. Spending "several hours," sounds about right to me.

From what I've read from here and other places, the C1 is not a good choice for me. But, the SP B1 might be. I might want to use this mic for steel string and vocals later in addition to classical, so would the SP B1 be a better all-around mic than the 603? Thanks again...

Getting a PA is a good option, though I can't afford one right now. Then, I'd still need a decent mic. I'm thinking all I need is one of those clip-on mics and a pre-amp and I'll be set (I'm assuming those too need pre-amps.) Not a good long term solution, but might do the trick for now. On...
