I'm working on a recording of both mics in stereo but have a question. I assume I just have one mic in each channel (L,R,) then when you play back the mp3 you can pan back and forth, is that the idea? How can you do that during playback? thanks

If you convert to 44/16, what do you record in? Is it better to record in say, 96/32 then convert at mixdown?

Thanks for the advice. That's what I wondered about....where you normallly put the centered track vs. the panned ones. I had the bass line centered then the other two panned L/R at about 30 which sounded okay. I'll try centering the trebble guitar which carries the main melody.

Which level do I decrease? There is an overall slider bar then below it there is another level where you manually put in a value in dB. Thanks.

Anyone notice a wierd, phaser-like sound after you've applied noise reduction? AllI do is take a selection of the noise in the track and save it. Then apply that profile to the entire track. But, in the background you can hear this wierd sound (mainly just with headphones.) What am I doing...
