that's what I was thinking as well. My friend use a MOTU. I was checking out the Echo Layla and maybe something from Aardvard, but I'm not sure. From what I hear SONAR will work with many different types. I would just like to know what other people are using and if it is working well for...
Hi,
Just wondering what all you Cakewalk users are using for interfaces and what your advise is?
I've got an ADAT and am thinking about getting SONAR and will need to get an interface. My computer is running XP.
thanks in advance!:)
The reason I don't hook the two together is that we both like having them at our own studio. He has the equipment he likes to work with. I would just like to be able to take some of the ADAT recordings/projects I do, and finish them at my house on my own computer...as well as work on projects...
Anyone out there hooking there ADAT up to their computer? I have an ADAT, but want to be able to dump that stuff on the computer to mix, add to it on extra tracks, etc. I like the ADAT because I can record live drums (I'm a drummer) and bring that tape to my partners ADAT and he can dump it...

How are those programs? Ntracks and Cool Edit Pro? XP compatible?
I just want to get as much info before I make to purchase.
thanks
Thanks,
I do have a mixer. Do you use the Delta?/SONAR? How are they.........?
I have worked on my friends computer, a Mac G4, with a MOTU interface that seems to work well (he uses Digital Performer).
I recently got a new computer with Windows XP. I have an ADAT LX20 and a mixing board. I want to be able to record on or through the ADAT into the computer and mix/edit on the computer.
I have been looking around for a compatible software program and an interface to go with it.
How is...

I'm planning on hooking my ADAT up to my computer to dump tracks I've recorded onto it. My new computer is running Windows XP. Then I would use the computer to...
