    Ibanez tube screamers

i still have a TS-9 i got for christmas when i was 17. 99.9% of the time it's been the only pedal i've used aside from the occasional compressor or wah. i couldn't imagine doing without it. highly recommended.

Can me raise my Pickup while guitar still plugged in?

i'm always plugged in. =] oh, and i always adjust pickups when plugged in. it won't shock you anymore than playing while it's plugged in.

congrats on the seagull bro. you made a wise decision. =] i have one i've owned for about 12 years now and i love it. i saw a 12 string like yours in a music store the other day and instantly started drooling.

    Unhappy with New Les Paul

did it stay in tune before you took it to the shop? i have a friend who bought a les paul years ago. an american LP custom. it wouldn't stay in tune from day one. he took it back the the store twice. the third time he got a full refund. hmmm....you could always get your money back and buy...

    Virtual guitar/bass?

ahh. i guess i was under the impression that you are a keyboard player. that would make it a little easier for you anyway. flippy gave you the best advice then. use sound fonts and a midi program. you may even be able to do it with samples and loops. that probably wouldn't give you the...

    Virtual guitar/bass?

alright. you kids cut that shit out. =P if you really want guitar in your music, your gonna have to do what i did...just buckle down and learn it. if you want it to sound good anyway. i wanted violin in some of my music. sure i could have used midi or a keyboard. well, i suck at keyboards...

    Ibanez tube screamers

i used my ts-9 with a peavey solid state combo for 20 yrs. half od on the amp and half on the tube screamer was excellent for metal. the damn thing was a real meat grinder. but the amp itself has to have a decent overdrive.

hmmm. a friend of mine has one of these and it's a sweet sounding/playing guitar. of course these inconsistencies have been discussed here before.

This EBAY guitar looks thirsty in my mouth.

Oooooooo....1980 silverburst. sweet man. and it looks to have a DiMarzio X2N at the bridge. i always wondered what that would sound like in a LP. 2 grand starting, less than two days left on the auction and no bids. go for it.

Thinking about buying an amp... have a question for you

actually, that's not so far fetched. i bought a carvin v3 a while back and i love it. but i still use my tonelab with the clean channel...and it ROCKS! that gives me tonal options i wouldn't have otherwise and the v3 really warms up the sound of the tonelab.

    Grizzley Industries...?

mmmmmmm....grizzly. i didn't know they sold instruments. i've been drooling over their table saws for years though. (seems like i might remember seeing kits in the catalog a while back.)

    Rocktron Utopia is the shitz!

i'm with ya on the tonelab. when i bought mine it was down to the boss gt-8 and the tonelab. the gt-8 had better effects but i felt the tonelab ripped the gt-8 a new one on distortion sounds...and that's what i was looking for. i wasn't aware of the utopia when i bought the tonelab. i'd also...
