Hi. Untill I got my Darla card, I used my SB AWE. I used to get the same hiss when I recording but not playback. I noticed when the computer was running other programs at the same time, it did that. Try keeping the memory free. I don't know if this is the solution, but its worth a try.

I was wondering what is a good hight quality mic cable, and RCA-1/4" cables. Someone recommended MOGAMI to me. What do you think?? How much does something like this go for??
Thank you.
Adam.
That sounded awsome! Great guitar playing!! The only things that was wierd, on my speakers, was that the bass was distorting (peaking maybe) in the section where it stays on an A note I think.
Sounds awsome though!

Hi. I'm upset because I think I blew the sound cards inputs by using the headphone jack of my amp. :( About the program I was using, I was just using cooledit pro just to test to card. I tried everything you said but I didn't get any signal in the windows mixer or anything, so in other words...

Hi, I just purchased a Darla card for the amazing price of $200.00! I was wondering which program works best with the Darla card, Cubase or Cakewalk, or other? Thank you.
Adam.
PS. I would be glad to here from some darla users, how do you like the card?
Hi. I think there should be someway in your sodtware to route all the tracks to one output. Try searching in the help more trackk merging or something like that.
Adam.
Hi. The way I do it is have each seperate track come out seperate outputs on the card, then from there each output goes into seperate inputs on my mixer, then everthing out the RCA tape outs of my mixer to the tape deck. Does that help at all?
