Hi. Untill I got my Darla card, I used my SB AWE. I used to get the same hiss when I recording but not playback. I noticed when the computer was running other programs at the same time, it did that. Try keeping the memory free. I don't know if this is the solution, but its worth a try. Adam.

Hi. I think there should be someway in your sodtware to route all the tracks to one output. Try searching in the help more trackk merging or something like that. Adam.

Hi. The way I do it is have each seperate track come out seperate outputs on the card, then from there each output goes into seperate inputs on my mixer, then everthing out the RCA tape outs of my mixer to the tape deck. Does that help at all? Fender
