on the top of my sm57, the part where you speak into with the mesh, it kidna spins around, but it doesnt come off or anything. is it supposed to be able to do that? nothing seems to be the matter, but just making sure.

I heard that you could mixdown from a 4 track onto the computer. Can somene tell me what I need and how to do it with my x12? When I'm done, can I turn it into an mp3 or listen to it somehow? Do I need a certain program? What kind of adaptor do I need? Any help would be appreciatted. Thanks!
