You might try adding the name of the girl you are talking to or about to the song. That could give it a bit more focus, and perhaps a word to "hook" it on. that sounds like a great idea. Make the girl real in your mind, and the song will come together better.

I'm exactly where you are, and I think that Rockett has it down - something you learn by playing and playing with stuff, doing your own experiments etc. Good luck, keep pushing it. If I figure anything out - I'll share it. LN ps: I'm OLD and inexperienced - imagine how that is!
