    Well, You cannot build an equivalent pc to a mac. Pc's do not have 64 bit processors yet. Only 32. Processing speed between the two types goes up exponentially, so 64 is way, way better. Mac clock speeds are not scaled the same way as Pc's. A mac 1 Ghz processor will outperform a PC 2 Ghz...
