As for kick - I could use a little more attack sound. I think it would help it be heard in addition to being felt. Bass sounds decent to my ears!

Sorry dude. I just don't like them. It's not because I'm used to certain things. There are just dissonances between the vocals and the chords in the verses that don't jive with me. It's just my opinion.

Whoa. SS - that was some crazy stuff. Van Halen meets Finster. I'm always one for changing chords for cover songs and all, but I'm not quite sure they fit. However, the synth and guitar stuff is certainly different and is a change from the others (along with MixMister). Good luck dude. -E

The difference between monitors and speakers is that monitors (hopefully) have a relatively flat response. That is, there are no exaggerations or dips at any part of the frequency spectrum. This offers you the truest representation of your music and will help you create the best sounding mix...

Why not? Some others have done it, including myself!

While I don't know the specifics of your card, try the Y connector, and if it doesn't work, get a headphone amp. Headphone amps can be pretty cheap.

Well, you didn't mention your recording software, but I use Cakewalk Sonar 3 with an AISO card, and I can only use that OR my old card at one time. I can't use both. I believe it is this way with the other Cakewalk products and probably with many other programs as well.

It should be there now. I had the same thought which is why I updated my entry. I went back and took a look at the levels of the individual tracks and realized that everything was peaking at about -4. I turned everything up, and voila, you have my new entry :) I wanted to stay away from...
