    Valve King

I dunno, that turbo switch pushes the thing pretty deep into "crunch land". The reason I dig the VK so much is that it is so versatile, you get a nice fender clean sparkle to a good delta blues/classic 30 OD, all the way to some over the top crunch. 3 usable tones for a bargain basement price...

Agreed, Valve Kings sound pretty good straight out the door.

Where can i get a beginner cello?

Just an idea, but If you live close to a large city, try calling the "go to" store/company for student band/orch instrument rentals. Sadly, budget cuts have forced the school systems to drop their orchestras and keep their bands. So consequently, there is a ton of rental stock out there...

    Orianthi

Guess im a sexist, as I wouldnt be impressed if it was a dude playing, but I actually watched the whole clip. :)

    Semi-old Epiphone

Speaking of old beaters with little monetary value, I have had some older jap made, mid level Yamaha FG's come through my stable that were absolute tone monsters. Nice warm recording tone and ya dont feel guilty throwing it in the canoe on a camping trip.

    Gibson J45

Used to only play Martin and pooh poohed all of the Gibbies, but I was young and dumb. There are some great vintage ones out there, and some of the new ones kill too, but I have also ran into a few that were a bit stiff feeling, so play before ya buy.

    Blueridge Acoustic Guitars?

Used to get a few Blueridges in for re-strings...... seemed to be good value imports. Prolly on par w/ the higher end Ibanez, for about $200-$300 less.

    Received my PRS pickups

I love these PuPs, have had 2 PRS Customs come in and outa my stable over the years, totally impressed by the workmanship, quality and ESPECIALLY the PuPs, but could never gel w/ the feel of the necks so I moved them down the line. Traded the last one for a NOS 90's SG in the box and a 73' LP...

    Unhappy with New Les Paul

BTW..... LPs are traditionally set up extremely low, and if you like that kind of setup(which I dont), you will here some acoustic fret buzzing on the lower strings in the lower registers from time to time, but you wont really hear it in you amp.

Nice tube combo amps under $500?

If youre looking for a versatile affordable amp, the Valve King is the best bang for the buck out there. Crystal clear bell like clean, nice OD channel and some kind of turbo boost for gain/disto sounds. Much love and respect for the entire Classic and Delta lines, but you wont really get a...

    Let's Talk Les Pauls

Had a early 70s DeLuxe for a while..... some fool offered me WAY to much money so I sold it. It had a slim neck and the minis sounded great. punchy mids and highs, and it seemed to respond better(more tonal variety) with volume knob adjustments. Havent priced em lately, but they seemed...
