hey, it's just crazy. I have 2 of those as overhead, more than 1m higher than cymbals, i plug them in a m-audio dmp3, low gain pushed, gain at 0, into delta1010lt, input sliders just a bit more then when the sound card limits at a infinity:1 ratio.
Guess what, cymbals are in yellow and snare...
here is my story.
I've been a guitar player for 5 years now. We've formed a band 3 years ago, and the more we compose the more it gets hard to play. I started to correct my guitar playing and think it's time for me to learn the real technique on bass too. I can play songs but my fingers (right...
I once posted tabs on the net, and someone removed my name and took credit for it (bastard!!!!!).
have a look there: www.mysongbook.com
you will need guitar pro, but it's too good to let this pass.
TABS SUCKS. with this one the song is played in midi, so you ear exactly whats wrong and what's...
i saw someone in a show that used a boss equalizer in front of the amp, considering the extreme dist he had i thought there was a sound emulator behind his amp, but no. He told me the eq was there to get the head working. Don't remember much, but i remember the bass was near 0 on the eq and...
hey,
one of my guitar is a washburn dime 333 (not sure, not the real model, not the cheap ass, the one that's blue with storms on it).
The default pickup kinda sucks, i installed my di marzio super distortion on it, it sounded even worst. I read a lot of reviews that say to use emg81 with this...
hey,
i found the problem. The guitar pickup was not suited for the guitar we used, and i used a superlux mic (h7a or something like that)+ se electronics pencil mic, i found 2 sweetspots in less than 35 seconds.
i've seen a used mesa recto preamp, 1200$...1800$ if you get to the brand new side, gets me nut... i would have to sell my whole kit just to buy it, i don't see how this little piece could be so hi-priced, and i read a couple of bad review about it, and a couple good.
anyone used it?
well i don't hate the jcm2000 sound, but i don't really like it, it's not like the mesa or triple x, and the cab speakers have some kind of cardboard sound with it, and it's a pain in the ass to record, so i guess i'm kinda fed up with it...
I'm looking for something that won't cost me anything...
I've read it half way already. Got me to learn how to do, but the practice is another thing.
Oh and he stops at the point where the palm mutes no longer does the chugga sound, but don't say how to make it get back
well,
the amp is downstair, and i'm in the room upstare listening through monitors while a friend moves the mic downstair. I tried loads of placement and amp eq's, but doesn't feel like THE tone...
i Tried master and channel volume at 10, a 3, one a 10 the other halfway, i just don't seem to...
hey, i have big problems recording some heavy stuff with the triple x head and cab.
anyone have gotten good results and have some clip of the guitar alone so i could know about where to go.
i only have a sm57 and two spb1,
feels like close micing the sm57 doesn't get the "speaker movement"...
i,ve found a way not to do it the wrong way, i just exagerrate the wrist movement a lot, but no speed for me right now cuz it gets back to the old habbit
hey
it's been five years of itense learning and complex playing, but now i gotta go back to the bases i left after 2 months of playing, those stupid scales, to develop speed. (by saying stupid scales i mean i hate practicing them, but i understand and acclame theory)
i think i have a problem...
Hey,
