    MATCHING EQs of different songs..?

I agree with your comments totally. My own situation however forces me to move room to room and I'm sure if my wife had it her way I would be mixing in a closet. Someday I will have a treated room (I hope). Wow, I just listened to the videos on their site and yes, they suck. Hang on a sec...

    MATCHING EQs of different songs..?

I find it to be extremely helpful. I think I should elaborate a bit. It is a tool for those (and this includes me) that have less than stellar rooms and equipment. I do not use it without my ears. Har-bal has its place. I respect you guys that can mix totally by ear alone. Some of us that are...

Im Stupid, sorry i need help

Why are you worried about changing your monitor setup then? Keep going if it works for you. Rule number 1 - if it sounds good, it is good. Rule number 2 - make sure it actually sounds good (made that up but you get what I mean)

Im Stupid, sorry i need help

Before you worry about the settings, you should worry about the angle and height of your monitors. No knob is going to fix that

    Headphone monitoring volume

You probably just need a headphone amp. Behringer makes a good one (believe it or not). I've been using mine for about 7 years now Behringer: POWERPLAY PRO-XL HA4700

    Best MIC for me?

I have a Countryman e6 and it may be what you are looking for. You can turn the gain down and use a cardioid pattern to minimise bleed. They sound great and are used in a lot of live performance situations. E6 Earset | Countryman Associates, Inc.
