It really does deliver. It's a bright amp so that can get away from you if one's not careful. I was dubious with the 305's single coils. I had to dial in a fair amount of CUT. Thanx.

IDk, it seems most clips in this thread have been modelers and higher gain. Maybe I've missed a lot. my ears wouldn't let me :) though the amp does clean up very nicely with the gtr volume. Thanks for checking.

OP, is your preference Gtr/Amp tone only or in a mix?

I'm not sure what sweeten it up means, but here's some post EQ processing. The clip switches back and forth between (wet - post EQ) and dry. It starts wet and ends wet. IMO this is cleaning up the track.

I don't hear the droning you're referring too. your tracked tone may work just great in a mix, but on its own it's thin and scratchy. Little meat or substance. Do you know for sure what speakers are in the cab? I'm not a big fan of the 12t75 only. if the amps' got a lot of mids maybe...

I don't hear clipping that doesn't belong or that is usually not part of a tone like this.. Backing down on the gain a smig may clean it up some without loosing the basic tone. Are you new to Hi Gain tone?

Amp? Speaker? Mic? Pre? Post an example clip of the gtr. Better tracked and no need to cut the top to fix it. I sometimes end up boosting the top a tad.
