ultimate has some added instruments. I found out how to get komplete 10 for $350, I can get komplete 7 for $250 and its only $100 to upgrade from that to komplete 10. I think I might do it.

Sounds pretty good to me. Its hard to tell without vocals. I will say though the tone on the guitar solo is really good, the tone on the rhythm guitars sounds a little dark. That's cool if that was your intention though.

How are they not synced properly. do you mean because in parts the drums are playing a shuffle beat but the guitar is just holding chords?
