PC Speaker going off like a siren

Well, that answers my question. If I have to lose EAX for Sonar 3, then be it! Warcraft and Unreal will have to live without it! Let's keep the English, please gentlemans. My motherboard seems to be VIA KT266a chipset. Any problems with this chipset Toki? Thanks!

PC Speaker going off like a siren

I suppose that by installing one of these drivers, I'll lose my EAX (games) feature from SBLive, since those are 'generic' drivers. Am I correct?

PC Speaker going off like a siren

Moskus, I changed to ASIO, and indeed those poltergaist creepy noises are gone. But now I get to another problem: everything is gone! Sonar doesn't play any sound! I went to Options -> Audio -> Drivers and no drivers are showed in the input and output list. I went then to SoundBlaster's...

PC Speaker going off like a siren

James, I read and understood almost everything on the link you posted. Couldn't find the answer to a question, though: by replacing SoundBlaster driver and also NVidia (my AGP), will this 4in1 driver work properly with these cards (audio/video)? Shouldn't the manufacturer drivers be the best...

PC Speaker going off like a siren

Mike, sorry for the stupid question, but I'm a complete dumb in these drivers stuff. I don't even know the difference between ASIO and WDM (looked for some reading, but couldn't find anything clear). How do I change from WDM to ASIO? Thanks!

PC Speaker going off like a siren

Hey guys, I have a similar problem. Just build up my new computer this weekend (specs below), and installed Sonar 3 Producer Edition. When I open Sonar, after a few seconds a lot of noises (not a siren, but noises, like some scratched LP) starts to come from my speakers (kinda creepy, mind...

Re: Re: midi to waves Just complementing: you just need the MIDI track itself. No need of any external instruments. ;)

    songs load into ram?

just to make sure you won't be confused: the audio itself is not loaded to memory, only the intructions of what file to read from your hd + what effects apply to it. after you hit 'play', it's just like moskus said. ;)

midi to wave mixdown in Pro audio9

Instead of 'What U Hear', choose 'MIDI' on your Audio HQ Mixer, then create a new audio track and record only the midi tracks (solo them) to this new audio track.
