Can you give us a more detail comparison between the Focusrite ISA One and GAP PRE73? Did you have your GAP PRE73 mod'ed?

Thanks!!! :) I like fat and full sounding snares. If the mix had more to it I would made the adjustments for the snare to fit. My goal here was to keep them out of the spot light and to keep the focus on the accoustic guitar.

I had some snake segments I aquired years ago and cut them for shorter runs, but I would advise not to cut the individual wires out and do what is recomended above and buy some bulk wire for individual runs.

The two main reasons why I like the passive design are: 1) I can try various amps for my makeup gain 2) It was cheap and easy to build
