Hello - I am looking to upgrade my cymbal bag to a hard case - with wheels... I have 6 cymbals - but my main question is, does anyone know if a 16" china cymbal will fit in this case? I do not have a local dealer to test drive this, so I thought I would see if anyone here has this case...

    Practice PA speaker placement question

I turned the effects down and the comp almost off - I set the eq's at flat. I have 2 speakers and I set the mixer to a Mon mix. This way I can control each speakers output seperately - this seems to give me more volume. I have the speakers on the back wall facing out from behind the...

    Practice PA speaker placement question

Thanks for the input - so maybe we should put the band at one end facing towards the middle, and have the speakers at the opposite end facing back at the band? This would enable the mics to be facing the speakers. The EQ's are flat right now. - I also have a little reverb, but not allot.

    looking for Cymbal

Maybe it's the sound I am hearing from behind the kit and not out in the crowd. It just seems to be a bit loud from where I am at. Really a med-thin should be ok - I am referring to Foo Fighters and greenday. They like to ride that crash...

    looking for Cymbal

OK - On allot of today's music, you hear the drummer riding on crash type cymbal instead of the ping of the ride. The crash cymbals I have now get too loud and overwhelming to do this. Does anyone know what kind of cymbal would get the results I am looking for? Thanks!!

    Drum room help!

Yes I am getting a new beater. I am getting both top and bottom heads on the tom I use for recording and a bottom for the floor tom. I can imagine that I am going to get allot less bleeding now that I have the mics pointing correctly. Like the pic shown above of the other guys kit.

    Drum room help!

Yeah - I agree - that is a really good looking kit... mine is soooo old and outdated... I am hoping the changes I make though, make a big difference.. I found mic clip extenders in the case that hold the CAD mics - this will get the mics up the air more - for a better angle.. I've moved the...
