But what about using the pitch shift or detune effect in the "insert effects" menu. Shouldn't it transpose also?

Yeah Lazi, i started off wit a Tube MP with my AKG mic, worked nice. Only thing is that my Korg Trition is running directly into my Delta soundcard, I heard running it through a preamp helps the sound, but it sounds cool wit me, just a lil bit of hum.

Preamps are just apart of the process. You need a good condenser mic to get that pro sound that I feel you are refering too, even tho dynamics can be clear too. Different preamps add diffferent color. Avalon preamps are really good preamps. I own a real nice Joe Meek preamp and an AKG Solid...

Sometimes to blend a chorus with the lead vocal track, you can use less reverb on the chorus. Have the harmony either more dry or more wet than the lead. This way, you can distinguish the chorus vocals from the verse, plus they blend a little better. Hope this helps, Peace~

Im in the Sequencer mode. I have a melody recorded to track 1. I would like to know a quick way to transpose the melody to another octave besides using Event Edit and going note by note. This is time consuming!!! Anyone?? Thank you!

Exactly, but the triton has a patch called "Vox Wah Chicks" which sound like those muted chords, they make that "Wakul Wakul" chucking sound but it doesnt make the WAaaaw. Do you think maybe I could just use that patch to get the chucks and use another regular guitar patch to get that WAaaaw...
