I like Minerman’s music a lot, it’s rock/metal, but it is not neoclassical metal. The hate shown here is for anything that even resembles neoclassical shred metal is clear, so no they’re not even close to being the same. Wrong, try again.

Have you noticed how technical shred/metal players don’t seem to post much “tones” in this thread? Judging by the almost insane allergic reactions of some people to most any form of technical metal guitar playing, it’s no wonder they stay away. All tones welcome here, neoclassical metal stuff...

She has many other “tunes” that could have been posted, but in the end the knee jerk reaction of some people would probably be the same anyway. A better question is: Why do some people continually feel they always need to talk down about any guitarist with technical abilities? Or………. better...

The real question is, can you read what he DID write? All I did is quote it, nothing more.

At first truss rod adjustments might seem pretty scary, but they’re really not that difficult to do yourself once you learn the correct way to do it. There’re some excellent Fender factory videos on youtube that show neck adjustments & guitar set-up. Good luck!

Miner, Congrats on the new house & gear. In time, you should try making some DIY bass traps, you'll be amazed at how easy, inexpensive and how much better you room will sound with them. Good luck and keep rockin!
