how are you gonna judge beats that are totally different? what you need to figure out before anything else is judging criteria... because if you are not gonna have a set standard of sounds.. then at least set up some guidelines because... for you to compare one beat to a totally different...

okay to battle and see who has skills... you have to use the same set of sounds and see who can flip them and how they can. that means no drums besides the ones included in the battle kit. no sounds other than whats included in the battle kit. only real things you should be able to do is add...

wtf this makes no sense... for a beat battle you still need a set of sounds. everyone on the same playing field. nobody using their own sounds. thats what im sayin.

definite.supreme - just the two of us alright so i flipped it... just a real quick/rough joint. i used a lot of vocals that had instrumentation under them... it just sounds like i overlayed vocals over some instrumental loop because of how i placed the chops together... so listen and enjoy!

samples with vocals work GREAT. now... what you really need to learn is which chops go best together. i love taking vocal samples with ill instrumentation behind it.

maaaaaan ive been on fruity loops over a year until i got the hang of it. you wanna just either slow down or speed up the sample by messing with its pitch to have it match with the drums or whatever.
