Does anyone know an Affordable way to capture 96Khz 24bit sampling it down to 44.1 16? Would this work? Running the out of my sound card into the analog in puts of my sony DAT and recording the master onto a DAT?

Just out of curiosity has anyone had problems with the new 1.3.1 patch for Sonar? I just installed about a week ago and now all I get is Kernal32.dll errors. I am just curious.

Does that effect sound quality in any way? Does it take away from 24 bit quality?

If I record a song in sonar at 24bits and the want to burn it down to a cd is there any way I can capture that 24 bit sound onto 16 bits? Will dithering do this if so what plug in should I get to perform this operation? Thanks in advance

Interesting!! I also purchsed Sonar and I noticed that in it MMC and MIDI setting you can choose if you want to press play or not to recieve MIDI sync. Maby in Sonar you can control it with the VS-880. I will try it soon .
