    Pro Audio 9 MB Space

One extra thing - If you have many wave files that aren't linked to a .wrk file (and be sure you don't need them - sometimes you might want to keep em), you can delete them through Cakewalk using "Clean Audio Disk" (under Tools?) I did that today and I found myself 9GB better off :D

An inch away from buying the Project Studio mic...

Should be great for your low stuff, but its got accentuated highs which might be a problem for the high falsetto stuff. I've not used it though, so I'm not really the one to say

Help with deleting unwanted wave files?

Hmmm one thing, the Winzip Self-Extractor has opened to install it, where it simply says "Welcome to Cakewalk Audio Finder 3.3 Installation! This program will extract the required files to a temporary directory and then continue installation". Normally this kind of stage takes about 2 seconds...

Help with deleting unwanted wave files?

It's hard to explain this particular problem. Basically, as you all know, Cakewalk likes to eat up the hardrive. Big time. I formatted about 3 months ago and now I have 2GB left (from about 30). Anyway, to cut to the point, I see no way of easily removing things I don't need, as the files are...

    Comparing Mics

What about if you angled each mic at your mouth (or wherever you do) hence it would be on-axis response. Unless you sing with half your mouth closed. However, I think one mic would be great from 6" but another would be pants, so its best to find the best for each mic methinks.

large condenser mic, take me to kick heaven

Coolio - Thanks for the replies. Anyhow, sorry to deviate off topic. I guess it depends what kind of sound you're going for (and your budget). Quite often people tend to go with a dedicated kick mic if they can afford it.

large condenser mic, take me to kick heaven

Han - Does this mean that if I have a condensor basically about 4" from the very bottom of the kick aiming up at it (and the outer skin is still on, so no air), it shouldn't pose a problem? I'm happy with the results...

    Which mic?

I'm half English half American and have a house in France, so I'm part of you all! :D The only thing I take from USA though is my inability to pronounce "orange" correctly :)

    Studio Projects C4 Clips!

Not a great one (it happens to be my living room). Thankfully its damn quiet. This is kind of what the room looks like (the windows are to the right): Can I ask why?

    Studio Projects C4 Clips!

Sonixx: I'll have the option of using one extra mic (which is obviously going on the snare) - but I need to learn from you how to get a snare sound like yours :) I'll check out EQing the acoustic a bit (and the ringing, which I haven't noticed) Cheers for the feedback

    Studio Projects C4 Clips!

Hmmmmmmmm yeah they seem pretty erratic. I wonder if anyone who has the clips has anywhere they could upload? I've spent ages looking around for somewhere :(

    Studio Projects C4 Clips!

Cheers guys. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one that was pleased :) The guitar actually has NO EQ whatsoever. I stuck up the mics, moved them a tiny bit and found a wonderful tone. The guitar is a Fleetwood (not sure what model) that I got last year for approx. $250 second hand. It's...
