What should I set the drive jumper to, and just to be clear, this is the software download option, HD24tools, correct?

IT is an older computer, and I thought of that, but didn't know if it would work. So I can just unplug it and use the connectors?

Is this possible through Ethernet, as I am afraid this is my only option, and is a standard Ethernet cable going to suffice?

Well no room for plugging an extra drive in to my desktop, there is an extra 4 pin plug, but no extra ribbon. I really just don't know what the hell I am doing, do I ? But I will never give up!

Hello, I need to take drum tracks from an Ableton live 8 recording, and put them on individual tracks on the Alesis HD24. How? I am assuming that I will have to Somehow sync tjhem and record each track one by one using mutes on the tracks as I go. Please offer suggestions. New to some of this...
