yea i was jus aiming to make it sounded wider. It seems to sound better when i listened in mono than jus havin one mono track but maybe i'm jus imagining it

is it better to record a lead vocal in mono and then make a duplicate of the track and then hard pann them? or it doesnt make a difference (besides putting effects on them seperately)

is it better to send reverb to an aux bus or put the reverb directly on the track or it doesnt make a difference? (e.g. Puting reverb or delay directly on the vocal track or setting up an aux running reverb or delay ad then sending the vocals through the aux bus) thanks

is there a better way to get rid of most of the frequency under 100hz on vocals besides doin a high pass because the high pass doesnt seem to work to good and i listen to commercial acapellas and the vocals still sound thick even tho most of under 100hz is almost totally gone.

thanks for the feedback. for the attack time, do vocals need slow attack time (100ms and above) since they dont have as much low end as say drums?

when someone says they get about 6 db gain reduction that means that the gain reduction meter stays on 6 or jus when peaks come? might be a confusing question but if you understand it please reply. What is yalls approach when compressing vocals? thanks

what is it that hip hop mixers use to get the kicks to sound real hard n punchy? i tried to do it with a compressor and tried to increase the low end frequency but all it does is make it muddy without adding and BIG punch to it. feedback will be appreciated. thanks

what mastering compressor do yall use? and also can software compressors such as wavesLinMb work just as good as those high quality hardware compressors? i'm tryna find a high quality software compressor but i dint know which is the best in yalls opinion.

how do u connect midi keyboards to play input in reason. i already have it connected with the usb port and it works on FL but i dont know how to get it to work on reason. i was lookin at the preferences on reason but i cant find what to do.

this might be a stupid question but what is the difference between firewire and usb? i know what they both are i jus mean is it better to get a hardware that is firewire or usb? i know it depends on the hardware itself but does any of them (usb or firewire) have any advantages over the other? thanks
