Yeah, you can run 2 44's at once. I think the driver supports up to 4 at a time.

Sometimes it's easier to fit a music stand below the mic when it's "hung" from a higher position, and upside down [downside up]. And sometimes, it just looks cooler! :cool:

Sure, his setup would pull it off. But the talent really lies in the engineer -- not the gear. YOU have to know about mic placements, tracking, mixing, and all that good stuff. And, yeah, you need to have good gear for it all to be captured well, but it really starts with the engineer...

Thanks C7. That's more what I was looking for. turnitdown - I might get the OnStage one for starters. I have 3 OnStage boom stands and they're pretty much crap when you get them up high enough. One of the poles is bent, but I guess that bar is better quality! Thanks to you both! :)

Of course I could have done that. And I did. But there's so many out there, I wanted YOUR opinion on which one you use and why. OnStage stuff is usually crap. I want something that is quality and will last be a while.
